We were asked to explore off shelf
opportunities to merchandise the new product launch of Pringles Rice Infusions;
one of Europe's leading brands. The unit needed to be able to be utilized in a
broad number of retailers and store locations. In our research we established
an unused area in stores where the shelf and side panels of the shelving units
met. We designed a hanging unit out of a single piece of material that connects
to the in store fixture using cable ties.
The product is merchandised horizontally and is shopped by simply pulling out
of its location. The design featured the product highly, reinforcing the brand
and creating an unusual and eye catching presence throughout. Several different
versions of the same unit were produced and distributed successfully throughout
Europe.
