The key objective was to hero a wide
range of Sony products with maximum impact across a variety of in-store environments.
The unit allowed total flexibility of load-up to suit the type of store in which
it would feature. The strategy was to communicate the quality and prestigious
nature of Sony and to position Sony as the global leader.
The objectives were met by creating a unit which could either be floor-standing
or a counter unit. Up-datable and linked quadrants were used to provide the additional
flexibility of format that was required. Premium material communicated quality
and robustness and fine wire mesh enhanced the perception of surround sound.
The unit provided a key part of the Sony in-store experience and created stand
out way beyond anything previously achieved.
